The Music

I’ve recorded music since 2004, using whatever free software was available on Mac at any given moment. All my songs and albums released as Captain Moonlight used to be recorded using the Garageband software, with a cheap Peavey directional mic, a 1/4″-1/8″ jack converter, standard leads and my horrible Marshall Amp. Then I lost the mic after a Eurovision Party, so now I record using my laptop’s built in mic. Surprisingly clean results, however I intend to get a condensor mic as soon as my finances allow it.

This is my Youtube Channel: Anarcousticfolk

I have three albums available online. You can listen to them on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon MP3, and other digital distributors. The most recent album is called The Rest of Your Life. It was released in September 2010. It’s arguably the best of the three. You can read a review of it here.

Here is a list of some of my songs that I’ve uploaded to the blog. Have a listen, share with your friends. They’re from all three of my released albums, and there’s also a new song. Until mid 2011 I played an Ibanez RG320fm electric guitar, and a Tanglewood acoustic. Now I own a Telecaster. Gone are the days of shredding….

Some nice songs here, don’t see much “anarchy” but that can be for elsewhere I guess…..
